Elclura 5mg Tablets contain Rosuvastatin, a lipid-lowering medicine belonging to the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor class, commonly known as statins.
Rosuvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver and increases the removal of LDL cholesterol from the bloodstream. It is prescribed alongside appropriate dietary and lifestyle measures to manage elevated cholesterol levels and reduce cardiovascular risk in selected patients.
