Elclura 10mg Tablets contain Rosuvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering medicine that inhibits the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme responsible for an important step in cholesterol synthesis.
Rosuvastatin helps lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while producing a modest increase in HDL cholesterol. It is used alongside dietary modifications and lifestyle management for patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and other indicated lipid disorders.
The 10mg strength is a moderate-intensity statin dose and may be selected according to cholesterol levels, cardiovascular risk, and individual treatment response.
Indications: Elevated LDL cholesterol, primary hypercholesterolemia, selected mixed dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risk reduction where indicated.
