Candeza Plus 16mg/12.5mg Tablets contain two antihypertensive agents that work through complementary mechanisms to lower blood pressure.
Candesartan Cilexetil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, while Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that helps the kidneys eliminate excess sodium and water.
This combination is used for the management of hypertension when treatment with a single antihypertensive agent does not provide adequate blood pressure control.
Effective management of hypertension helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications, including stroke and heart attack.
Dosage & Administration: Oral administration according to a physician’s prescription, generally once daily.
Possible Side Effects: Dizziness, low blood pressure, dehydration, electrolyte disturbances, and changes in kidney function.
