Amrofec 75mg is an enteric-coated diclofenac formulation used for the symptomatic management of pain, inflammation and stiffness associated with selected inflammatory joint disorders.

Description

Amrofec 75mg Tablets contain diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.

Diclofenac Sodium delayed-release formulations are prescribed for the symptomatic management of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.

The 75mg strength provides another treatment option where the physician determines that this dose is appropriate.

The enteric coating delays tablet release in the gastrointestinal tract; it does not prevent serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions.

Dosage & Administration: For appropriate patients, U.S. reference labeling includes 75mg twice daily for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Treatment duration and dose must be individualized.
